Yasochka

Hy.pnos.is, once, was told that the Russian language holds a word, a unique word, that, translated, means the glittering of light on breakers or between the leaves of a tree: Yasochka.

What could possibly be more hypnotic than that?

Just the sound of it is enough to send us, here, into Trance.

(We would be grateful if one of our Parouski readers sent it to us in Cyrillic….)

Combining the hypnotic power of that glitter, with

the intrinsic power of birch forests and

that of icons of Mother Russia,

once upon a time…

this word evoked a poem:

Yasochka

My brother recommended I might like this blog. He was entirely right. This post truly made my day. You can not imagine simply how much time I had spent for this info! Thanks!

Thanks. I got it from Ralph Benkos’s site Hy.pnos.is. I’m not sure if he is still doing it but I think not. Check it out anyway. He posted a lot of great stuff. Cheers.
